- Zambia Indigenous Small and Medium Business Association Project (ZAISMBA) - funded by the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF): 2008 - 2012
Amongst other areas of support, this program provides for:
- Training of Entrepreneurs
- Exchange Visits Among members
- National Workshops on policy engagement
- Building Partnerships with public sector, private sector and civil society
- Radio programmes and other information dissemination activities.
- Institutional and Program Support (funded by the Zambia Governance Foundation -ZGF): 2010 - 2011
Co-financing ZAISMBA project activities, program support, information base, knowledge management, dissemination and outreach, skills building and upgrading, interface, coordination & networking, Governance and human resource strengthening.
- Wealth Creation Through Business Association Agri-business Centers - (funded by Oxfam-Novib): 2007 - 2011
The purpose of this program is to increase income and access to finance of farmers and MSMEs in agricultural activities through:
- Improving marketing systems through trade and business information services, communication services and trade facilitation services;
- Improving the value and quality of marketable commodities;
- Enabling farmers to access credit on their warehoused produce.
- ACCESS! II for African( Zambian) Businesswomen in International trade: 2011 - 2012
This program provides export training as well mentoring and business counselling for Zambian business women who are emerging, export ready or are already exporting. Three sectors are eligible namely art/handicrafts, food processing and leather.
